16 Injured as Truck, Oil Tanker Catch Fire in Zhob

ZHOB: At least 16 people were injured on Thursday when a coal-laden truck and an oil tanker caught fire on the Quetta National Highway in Zhob, officials said.

The incident occurred at New Adda, triggering a large fire and causing multiple injuries.

Trauma Center Coordinator Shah Zaman said six of the injured were in serious condition. Authorities referred them to Quetta for further treatment.

The injured included occupants of the oil tanker, the truck driver, firefighters and police personnel.

Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted all the injured to the Trauma Center.

Doctors discharged several victims after first aid. The remaining six were transferred to Quetta due to the severity of their injuries.
