Sultan Golden sets new world records in reverse driving

QUETTA: Pakistan’s renowned stunt performer Sultan Muhammad Golden has made history by breaking the world record for the fastest reverse car drive, bringing international recognition to the country through an extraordinary display of skill and precision.

In this regard, several reports indicate that a special event was organized in Quetta to showcase the abilities of Sultan Golden, who hails from district Pishin in Balochistan. 

Sultan Golden successfully broke the previous world record set in 2022 for the fastest reverse car drive. 

He completed a distance of one mile while driving in reverse in just 57 seconds, significantly improving upon the earlier record of 1 minute and 15 seconds, which had been held by an American stuntman.

Furthermore, Sultan Golden also set another world record by performing a long-distance reverse ramp jump. He covered an impressive distance of 121.72 feet in reverse, surpassing the previous world record of 89 feet and 3.25 inches. 

These accomplishments further cement his position among the world’s leading stunt performers. Moreover, Sultan Golden expressed his determination to continue setting new records and representing Pakistan at the global level. 

He focused on that his achievements are the result of years of dedication, discipline, and hard work. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced a cash reward of 50 million rupees for Sultan Golden for setting two new world records. 

The announcement was widely welcomed by sports enthusiasts and local residents, who praised the government’s acknowledgment of talent from the province.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister also congratulated Sultan Golden on breaking the world record in reverse car driving. The Prime Minister congratulated the entire nation and stated that Sultan Golden has brought pride to Pakistan by raising the national flag on the global stage. 

He added that the nation is proud of Sultan Golden’s achievement. The Prime Minister further confirmed the government’s commitment to promoting sports and supporting athletes across all disciplines by providing necessary facilities and opportunities.
