QUETTA: The Balochistan government has issued a comprehensive schedule for winter vacations for all public and private schools across the province, introducing separate timetables for cold and warm climate zones.
According to an official notification released by the Balochistan Education and Schools Department, schools located in cold climate zones will observe extended winter holidays from December 16, 2025, to February 28, 2026, in view of the severe weather conditions in those areas.
In contrast, schools in warm climate zones will have shorter winter vacations, scheduled from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
The notification states that the schedule will be uniformly applicable to all government and private educational institutions. All district education officers, district accounts officers, and other relevant authorities across the province have been formally informed to ensure smooth implementation.
The Education Department has also urged parents and students to make necessary arrangements in line with the announced schedule to avoid any disruption to academic activities.

The notification bears the signature of Asfandyar Khan, Secretary of the Education and Schools Department, and has been circulated to all concerned departments and officials for compliance.
