Quetta: Two people died in two separate incidents in Quetta.
A man lost his life due to suffocation caused by a gas leak in a local area of the city.
According to details, the incident occurred in Shahozai, where a man named Nadeem died after inhaling gas that had leaked inside the house.
His body was shifted to a hospital and later handed over to the family after necessary formalities.
In a separate incident, a young man was killed when a vehicle was struck by a train in the Saranan area.
Reports indicate that the Chaman-to-Quetta passenger train hit the car near Saranan, resulting in the death of a young boy.
The body was moved to a hospital and handed over to the heirs after required procedures. Local authorities are carrying out further investigations.
It is worth mentioning that many such incidents have taken place across Balochistan every day.
Causalities on account of road accidents, gas leakage, and trains accident occur rather too frequently in the remote and desolate places of Balochistan.
Unfortunately, rescue services in cases of emergency are difficult to carry out because of the long distant areas and poor roads infrastructure.
In such circumstances, the people are advised to take precautionary measures by themselves to avoid any untoward situations.
The gas-leakage either leads to suffocation or its ends up causing blasts in houses.
The rescue departments ask people to take extreme care and switch off the gas connections before they go to bed.
Similarly, the people are advised to be cautious while crossing railway lines.
The officials advise the people to use railway crossing for such movements to avoid any unwanted incidents.
