Key-political and security issues reviewed in Quetta

QUETTA: A high-level meeting of the leadership and members of all coalition parties was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta, where key political and governance matters were discussed in detail.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, and Ghazala Gola.

Parliamentary leaders and senior representatives from coalition parties were also present, including Pakistan Muslim League leader Mir Saleem Khan Khoso, Pakistan People’s Party provincial president Sardar Umar Gorgage, Balochistan Awami Party parliamentary leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, Mir Sadiq Sanjrani, and Awami National Party representative Engineer Zamark Khan Achakzai.

The session included a comprehensive review of the overall political landscape of Balochistan, the law-and-order situation, and the progress of ongoing development projects.

The coalition leadership expressed complete confidence in the performance of the provincial government and reiterated their collective commitment to maintaining political stability.

Satisfaction was expressed over the measures taken to ensure peace in the province, while practical suggestions were also presented for further improvement.

Participants agreed that accelerating the pace of development projects, ensuring transparent governance, and implementing people-friendly welfare policies require a unified and coordinated strategy.

It was also decided that development and welfare initiatives would be aligned with public needs to ensure their direct benefits reach the common citizen.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that political harmony and strong parliamentary coordination are key to a brighter future for the province, adding that all coalition partners stand united for peace and development.

Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail remarked that the unity of allied parties on the agenda of peace and progress reflects a positive political environment.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolve to continue joint efforts for public welfare, lasting peace, and the successful completion of development programs across the province.
