Three Policemen Martyred by the Militants in Hangu

Police Recover Arms, Drugs in Province-Wide Balochistan Operations

KOHAT: Three Policemen have been martyred in a firing attack by the Khawarij in Hangu area of KP.

According to the DPO, the Fitna al Khawarij militants launched an attack on a check-post in Hangu area of KP.

The militants riding on motorcycles shot at the policemen on the check-post.

An exchange of firing took place in the militants’ attack causing martyrdom to three policemen.

The incident took place on the Talab Check-Post in Hangu.

The militants fled away from the spot. The police teams have launched a search and clearance operation in the entire area.

The security officials have said that the area will be cleared from the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij.

The sources of the security forces have affirmed that the security forces continue the anti-terrorism campaign with full force.

The security forces vow to completely eliminate the Indian-sponsored militancy from KP.

It is worth mentioning that the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij have launched several militant-attacks in KP and Balochistan in the past many years.

All such terror groups are funded, trained and backed by India and have their havens and hideouts in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has stressed on Afghanistan to ensure that the militant groups do not use the Afghan soil to launch attacks on the Pakistani territory.

However, no serious measures have been taken by the Afghan government against the Indian-sponsored militants so far.

Afghanistan has been denying Pakistan’s demand calling it ‘an internal security matter of Pakistan’ which has led to a strain between the two countries for the past two months of so.

Pakistan has clearly said that if more militant attacks are backed and plotted from the Afghanistan’s territory, Pakistan will launch military attacks on the havens and the hideouts of the militants deep inside Afghanistan.

Pakistan will take every necessary measure to ensure the sovereignty of its territory.
