Foreign Fake Accounts in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Social media platform X’s latest update has exposed foreign fake accounts spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda and fake human rights narratives in Balochistan and Khayber Pakhtunkhwa.

The latest update revealed that accounts linked to Afghanistan, “Fitna al-Hindustan,” and the Pakhtoon Tahafuz Movement were found operating on foreign agendas. Indian-run accounts promoting division, hatred, and unrest in Pakistan were also revealed.

Investigations show multiple accounts from India and other countries were used pretended being Pakhtoons and Baloches to push terrorism and unrest narratives inside Pakistan. Many accounts hid their locations using VPNs.

The latest update shows that terror-linked accounts of Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan were traced to India and other countries.

Moreover, so-called human rights activists accounts, in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were actually foreign accounts with links to India.

The revelations expose anti-Pakistan propaganda networks and misinformation factories operating from abroad. Political narratives were also being driven from foreign locations.

Experts said the update uncovers the full extent of Indian networks spreading hatred and disinformation on social media against Pakistan.
