Zimbabwe, despite their great show against Pakistan, had lost the first match of the series.
However, they are putting up another good fight today making it extremely difficult for the Sri Lankan in the runs-chase.
It is worth mentioning that Zimbabwe , despite their consistent failures over the years, have been rising on the preview of the world-cricket for the past two years or so.
Zimbabwe had between Australia in a T20 match on their home soil a few years ago which went down as their famour win.
Pakistan had beaten Pakistan in the T20 World Cup match in Australia in 2022 grabbing the global attention.
Zimbabwe had beaten Pakistan in a T20 match during three matches series when Pakistan toured to Zimbabwe in 2024.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, had won the T20 Asia Cup in 2021 beating Pakistan in the final. They made a re-emergence in Cricket after downfall a few years ago.
However, since the last Asia Cup taking place in October this year, there performance has not been up to the mark.
Despite having a quality spin-attack, the Sri Lankans have failed to make an impact in the recent time.
