RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military said on Thursday that it killed seven terrorists linked to Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations took place on November 18-19, 2025, taking the total number of terrorists killed during the past five days to 72.
According to the ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Mohmand tribal district after receiving reports of militant presence. Troops engaged the militants’ position. Four Khwarij were killed in an intense exchange of fire.
A separate operation was conducted in Lakki Marwat District in which two two more Khawarij were killed.
In Tank District, one additional Khwarij was killed during a separate encounter.
The ISPR said sanitization operations continue to eliminate any remaining Indian-backed militants. The military and law enforcement agencies are conducting a relentless counterterrorism campaign under Operation “Azm-e-Istehkam.”
The campaign aims to eradicate foreign-supported terrorism across Pakistan.
In the past five days military operations in KP carried out between November 15 and 19, over 72 Khawarij, a term used for the banned TTP, were killed in these operations.
