Leaked Club Video Exposes PTI Worker Who Harassed Shahzeb Khanzada

Leaked club video exposes PTI worker who harassed Shahzeb Khanzada

ISLAMABAD: A leaked video of Shahid Bhatti, the man who recently harassed Pakistani journalist Shahzeb Khanzada, has gone viral online.

The footage shows Bhatti in a nightclub in Canada, appearing drunk and dancing with young women. The video spread widely after his identity surfaced earlier this week.

According to journalist Safina Khan, Bhatti is a Pakistani national living in Mississauga, Ontario. He works as a real estate agent and is associated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). His social media accounts contain anti-army posts.

The controversy began over the weekend when Bhatti confronted Khanzada in public. A video showed Bhatti filming the anchor, hurling abuse and accusing him of reporting against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi. Khanzada, who was with his family, did not engage and walked away.

The incident drew widespread condemnation from politicians, journalists, and civil society. PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan also criticized the behavior and said no one should be harassed in public, especially in front of family members.

This is not the first time supporters of Imran Khan have confronted rivals in public. Similar incidents have occurred in the past.

The episode comes days after The Economist reported allegations that Bushra Bibi practises black magic and holds influence over Imran Kha, claims that sparked intense debate.

Yesterday, workers of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had also harassed female journalist and anchor Benazir Shah on social media.

Senior journalist Asma Shirazi shared a clip of her programme on Hum News ‘Faisla Aap Ka’, in which she was inquiring the Interior Minister Atta Tarar regarding the incident of an AI video of Benazir

Asma alleged that the ‘Troll Brigade’ of PML-N has run an AI video of Benazir Shah.
