QUETTA: Balochistan’s Minister for Planning and Development, Zahoor Buledi, has rejected reports suggesting discord within the provincial government, calling them baseless and misleading.
In this regard, Buledi focused on the fact that Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti is performing his duties with “exemplary commitment” and remains fully focused on the province’s development agenda.
The recent claims circulating on social media regarding internal divisions are “completely unfounded” and should not be taken seriously.
He noted that social media platforms often amplify speculation without verification, creating unnecessary confusion about government affairs.
In this sense, Buledi mentioned that the Chief Minister is actively leading initiatives in order to improve public welfare, boosting infrastructure, and accelerating socio-economic progress across the province.

He stated that the government is united in its objectives and continues to work collectively to address key development challenges.
Furthermore, the perception of occasional political disagreements, the minister described them as a natural part of democratic processes. He explained that differences of opinion when they arise are minor and can be resolved through dialogue.
Buledi confirmed the government’s commitment to transparency, cooperation, and stability. He maintained that all provincial departments are functioning smoothly and that the leadership is aligned in its mission to deliver effective governance.
“The Chief Minister is giving special attention to public welfare projects, and our entire team is working day and night to ensure progress in every sector,” he said.
The minister also urged the public and media to rely on verified information rather than unsubstantiated online claims.
He stressed the importance of responsible reporting, noting that misinformation can undermine public confidence and distract from ongoing development efforts.
Moreover, the officials continue to project an image of cohesion within the Balochistan government.
