DG ISPR holds special session with students on national defence

ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif held a special session with students and faculty at Millennium Universal College and Future World School on Saturday.

During the session, he discussed the country’s internal situation and emphasized the importance of national defence.

Students and teachers praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their dedication and service. Faculty members said the military not only safeguards national sovereignty and territorial integrity but also protects citizens.

Teachers added that the session encouraged students to think critically and move beyond traditional perspectives. It introduced them to concepts of Pakistani identity, active citizenship, and social responsibility.

Students said the discussion strengthened their resolve for Pakistan’s invincible defence. They also noted the importance of critically analysing news before sharing, emphasising that “the Pakistan Army is with us, and we are with the Pakistan Army.”

Earlier this week, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif had also held a special session with students and teachers of Convent Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School System.

During the session, DG ISPR discussed the Pakistan Army’s role in operational matters and the country’s internal security situation. The principal of Convent Jesus and Mary praised the sacrifices of the armed forces, while students and teachers shared their thoughts.
