Two major resigns put forth amid the 27th amendment

ISLAMABAD: Two major resigns have been submitted amid the 27th amendment. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah have resigned from their posts.

According to a televised report, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah have resigned from their posts amid the 27th amendment.

Both the judges have also evacuated their chambers in Supreme Court. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah submitted their resignations to the President Asif Ali Zardari. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah wrote that the 27th amendment is the massive attack on the constitution of Pakistan.

The 27th amendment has maligned the supremacy of the Supreme Court by making it a subordinate of the government.

I served the institution with honesty and dignity. The Supreme court has been shattered into the pieces after the 27th amendment.

I am giving my resignation as a senior judge.

The amendment has struck hard on the democracy of the judiciary.

This move has pushed the poor miles apart from the justice and has made him undone before the might.

Justice Mansoor said that the I have no regret upon my decision . I feel for the judges who will become the part of the the constitutional courts. The amendment was carried out by a disputed government and the current Supreme Court has accepted it with no resistance. \

Meanwhile the National Assembly has also approved the Army Act. According to the amendment, the tenure of the Army Chief will begin once again.
