ISLAMABAD: Law enforcement agencies have arrested handler and facilitator of the Islamabad blast from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the investigators have also identified the suicide bomber who carried out the attack outside the Islamabad Judicial Complex. Security sources said the attacker was an Afghan national.

According to reports, the facilitaor belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur. Authorities also arrested a facilitator from Bajaur this morning following intelligence-led operations.

Sources say that the police detained five additional suspects from various areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Investigators are determining the exact role each facilitator played in supporting the attacker. Interrogations are ongoing at multiple locations.
