KABUL: Afghan cricket star Rashid Khan has confirmed he remarried, sharing details of his second marriage on Instagram.
The 26-year-old tied the knot on August 2, 2025, with a woman of Afghan origin who currently lives abroad. Khan had previously married his cousin in October 2024.
In his post, Khan described his new wife as “an example of love and peace” and praised her for embodying the qualities he had always sought in a life partner.
The announcement followed public speculation after Khan attended a recent welfare event with his wife. “The truth is quite simple, she is my wife, and we stand by each other,” he wrote. “There’s no need to hide anything.”
He also thanked his supporters, saying he was “grateful to all those who have stood by me with love, support, and understanding.”
Further details about the wedding or his wife’s identity remain undisclosed.
