QUETTA: The member of the provincial secretary Transport of the Balochistan government Liaquat Lehri has vowed to upgrade the girls -schools in Quetta.
Liaquat Lehri carried out a surprised visit to the Girl School Satellite Town and checked several class-rooms.
He asked the female students regarding the issue related to the academics and the administration.
He revealed his concerns that despite the ongoing intense cold weather, the students were forced to sit on ground as there were no benched available.
Apart from this, the shortage of water and gas is adding to the sufferings of the students.
The MPA affirmed that the education is the fundament of the development of a nation.
He added that the providing students with all the necessities in the school should be the top most priority of the government.
It is worth mentioning that Liaquat Lehri had made a shocking statement about the chief minister of his own party, Mir Sarfaraz Khan Bugti.
He declared him an incompetent person, saying that he neither works himself nor allows others to work.
He added that he would convey his complaints about Sarfraz Bugti to President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, recommending that Bugti be removed from the position of Chief Minister and replaced with someone capable of addressing people’s sense of deprivation and backwardness through development initiatives.
Liaquat Lehri had also vowed to meet party officials, ministers and the MPAs across Balochistan.
Now Lehri’s visit to the Girls-Schools Satellite Town is regarded as a crucial political move as the people are getting more concerned about his engagements in the matters that were overlooked in the past.
The other important aspect is that it has been widely observed across Balochistan that CM Bugti’s government is struggling to get a backup or support by the general public in Balochistan.
