PESHAWAR: The security forces have killed a prominent commander of the Indian-sponsored militant group TTP.
According the sources of the security officials, an exchange of firing took place between the Fitna al Khawarij militants and the security forces of Pakistan in the Karak area.
The militants launched an attack on the convoy of the security forces led by SP Akhtar.
SP Akhtar was injured in the militants ‘attack.
The security forces launched a counter attack in which the prominent commander of the Indian-sponsored militant group Fitna al Khawarij was eliminated by the forces.
The TTP commander was involved in several attacks on the armed forces and had killed many security personnel as well as some innocent civilians.
The security forces recovered a large haul of weapons including automatic SMG, explosives, IEDs and hand grenades from the eliminated militant’s commander.
The security officials have said that the area will be cleared from the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij.
The ISPR have said that the security forces continue the anti-terrorism campaign with full force.
The security forces vow to completely eliminate the Indian-sponsored militancy from KP.
It is worth mentioning that the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij have launched several militant-attacks in KP and Balochistan in the past many years.
All such terror groups are funded, trained and backed by India and have their havens and hideouts in Afghanistan.
Pakistan has stressed on Afghanistan to ensure that the militant groups do not use the Afghan soil to launch attacks on the Pakistani territory.
However, no serious measures have been taken by the Afghan government against the Indian-sponsored militants so far.
Pakistan has made it absolutely clear that any further attacks in KP and Balochistan will forces the armed forces of Pakistan to carry out more attacks deep inside the Afghanistan’s territory. The government officials of both sides have conducted many rounds of peace dialogues in this regard,
