Militants attack on the DPO’s squad in Waziristan

BANNU: Militants launch an attack on DPO’s squad in North Waziristan.

Five militants were injured, however, the DPO remained safe in the militant’s attack.

According to the DSP Qudratullah, the Fitna al Khwarij launched a militant-attack on the DPO’s squad in North Waziristan.

Five policemen sustained injuries in the attack. However, the District Police Officer Waqar Ahmed remained safe in the attack.

The policemen sustaining injuries were immediately brought to the hospital.

The police cordoned off the area and launch a search operation.

The incident took place on the Miranshah Road area in the North Waziristan.

The injured policemen are being provided the treatment in the hospital.

The police team is collecting the significant evidences from the area.

The attack seems to be another incident of series of militancy that is plotted, backed and carried out from Afghanistan.

Such attacks have already raised a strain between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The militancy from Afghanistan has led the security forces of both the countries to launch attacks on each other’s territory.

Two significant rounds of peace talk have also been carried out in Doha and Istanbul respectively.

The Pakistani delegation has raised the key agenda of the militancy in KP during both the peace talks rounds.

However, the Taliban led Afghan government has not revealed any seriousness regarding that demand as yet.

It is worth mentioning that the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij have launched several militant-attacks in KP and Balochistan in the past many years.

All such terror groups are funded, trained and backed by India and have their havens and hideouts in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has stressed on Afghanistan to ensure that the militant groups do not use the Afghan soil to launch attacks on the Pakistani territory.

However, no serious measures have been taken by the Afghan government against the Indian-sponsored militants so far.
