FC Balochistan distributes laptops among graduates of Nushki E-Commerce

NUSHKI: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) has celebrated the graduation of the first group of students from its special E-Commerce Training Program.

A ceremony was held at the FC Public School in Nushki, with the Inspector General of FC Balochistan (North), Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, presiding as the chief guest.

The six-month program, which ran from April to October 2025, provided 100 young male and female students with skills in e-commerce, freelancing, digital marketing, and web design. The initiative aims to help them find work in the global digital marketplace. A key goal was to promote self-reliance, especially for women, allowing them to earn a respectable income from home.

During the ceremony, Major General Mujtaba distributed laptops to the top graduates. He stated that the youth are the foundation of the nation’s progress and that the FC is committed to a peaceful and prosperous Balochistan through modern education.

Parents and community leaders at the event praised the FC for the initiative.

In a similar move,  last weeks the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) organised a seminar in Kech district titled “The Role of Baloch Women in Social Development” to underscore women’s contributions to the province’s educational, social, and national progress.

Over two hundred women, along with members of the Balochistan Assembly, political and social figures, teachers, doctors, and intellectuals attended the event. The panel featured former Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Provincial Minister Meena Majeed, former MPA Mahjabeen Sheeran, and Professor Dr. Shahida Habib.

Speakers said Baloch women have proven their capabilities in every field—education, medicine, politics, and bureaucracy—standing shoulder to shoulder with men.

Inspector General FC Balochistan (South) said in his address that social development is an evolutionary process, and Baloch women, through their hard work, determination, and talent, are playing a vital role in the nation’s advancement.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants pledged to strengthen women’s role in the province’s development by ensuring equal opportunities in education, employment, and leadership.
