QUETTA: Unidentified gunmen killed a Levies constable and severely injured another in the Talli Matt area of Dera Bugti district on Thursday, officials said.
According to Levies officials, the attack claimed the life of Constable Muhammad Hussain Marri and left Jameel Sheikh with serious injuries.
Following the assault, Levies and other security agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
An investigation into the motive behind the shooting is currently underway.
In a separate incident a horrible accident took place in Dera Bugti causing deaths of three persons.
According to the details, a horrific and deadly accident took place on the Sui to Dera Bugti Road causing the demise of three people including women and children.
A tractor-trolly was overturned while taking a turn on the Jin Morh area.
The tractor-trolly was loaded with a large group of people the Bugti tribe.
The Jawans of FC force rushed to the place of accident, took out the bodies and the injured people after the accident on the directives of the Deputy commissioner Dera Bugti Mohammad Zohaib.
Assistant commissioner Dera Bugti Mohammad Husnain Abro and the area In charge of the Levies Force AD Bugti were also present on this occasion to rescue the troubled people.
