Afghanistan turns down Pakistan’s call for anti-terrorism

Istanbul: The Taliban lead the peace talks with Pakistan to a dead-end.

The Afghan delegation express unwillingness to cooperate with the efforts supporting anti-terrorism in the region.

According to the details, the second round of the peace talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan is heading towards a dead-end on account of the obstinate attitude revealed by the Afghan delegation in Turkey’s capital of Istanbul.

According to the details, in response to Pakistan’s demand to the Afghanistan’s government of restricting the militancy in KP and Balochistan carried out by TTP and other militant- groups from the Afghanistan’s territory, the Afghan delegation have made a self-proclaimed counter demand from Pakistan.

The sources have said that the Afghan delegation has asked to hand over the militants of ISIS, and other groups (naming them the enemies of Afghanistan).

Moreover, the Afghan-led Taliban have further asked Pakistan not to violate the peace and stability of Afghanistan’s territory.

However, the most ironic part of the Afghanistan’s stance regarding the ongoing strain is, that the Afghan delegation has declared the issue of the TTP ‘an internal matter’ of the Military Regime of Pakistan.’

The Taliban-led Afghan delegation in Istanbul urges Pakistan to resolve the matter of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) by themselves.

Furthermore, despite the worst acts of terrorism originating from Afghanistan, the Afghan negotiation delegation has expressed extreme stubbornness and indifference and has said that the it is not Pakistan, but Afghanistan the faces terrorism from the militants’ groups like ISIS on its territory.

The Taliban-led Afghanistan had given an advisory to its social media linked account to run the above-mentioned bases on propaganda and the blame game.

Pakistan’s stance has been very clear is this regard after a massive wave of militancy in KP and Balochistan plotted  and carried out from the Afghan territory.

Pakistan has stressed on several occasions that backing and supporting such militancy will do no good for the interests of both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Afghanistan should not allow the militants to operate from their territory.

However, the following the footprints of India, the Taliban-led Afghan government seems unwilling to give a positive response to Pakistan’s offers.

In Fact, the delegation alleges Pakistan of not respecting Afghanistan’s independence.

This stance from Afghanistan can lead to some horrible consequences in the region.
