Interior Minister vows to crush Indian-backed terror networks

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has vowed to eliminate menace of the India-backed terror networks- “Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij-from Pakistan’s soil, declaring that the nefarious designs of Indian-supported terrorists will never succeed.

The minister made the remarks during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, where the two leaders discussed the province’s security situation, recent incidents of terrorism, and ongoing counterterror operations against “Fitna al-Khawarij” in various districts. They also reviewed the prevailing situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Both officials paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against “Fitna al-Hindustan” and lauded their role in ensuring sustainable peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They also offered heartfelt homage to the martyrs of the recent attacks on the Police Training Center and the NADRA office in Dera Ismail Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi praised the courage and resilience of the people and law enforcement agencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in confronting the scourge of terrorism.

“The terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan are enemies of Pakistan’s unity and peace. Operations against these brutal elements will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated,” Naqvi asserted.

He emphasized that the federal government is extending full support to the province in maintaining law and order and strengthening counterterrorism measures. “We deeply value the sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the war against terrorism,” he added.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi reiterated that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are peace-loving and committed to the country’s progress. He stressed that peace is essential for the province’s development and prosperity and underlined the need for continued intelligence-based operations against enemies of the state.
