QUETTA: The residents of Quetta have been encouraged to report cleanliness and sanitation-related problems in their areas through the official complaint cell jointly managed by the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ) and Safa Quetta.
This particular initiative aims to ensure prompt action on public complaints regarding garbage accumulation, clogged drains, and unclean streets.
The complaint cell operates around the clock to facilitate citizens and maintain cleanliness across the city.
Furthermore, the residents facing issues such as uncollected waste, blocked drainage systems, or unhygienic streets can now easily register their complaints through the designated channels of the Metropolitan Corporation.
Moreover, the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta stated that the initiative indicates the administration’s commitment to improving urban sanitation and promoting a cleaner, healthier environment for citizens.
The joint operation between MCQ and Safa Quetta is part of the city’s broader cleanliness campaign, launched to tackle the growing waste management challenges faced by Quetta due to urban expansion and increased population.
In this regard, the residents have been advised to actively participate by promptly reporting sanitation issues and avoiding improper disposal of garbage in streets and open spaces.
The administration has also announced that monitoring teams will regularly inspect different areas to ensure continuous improvement in waste management and drainage maintenance.
