Providing basic healthcare in Balochistan govt’s top priority: Health Minister

QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar said that providing basic healthcare facilities in Balochistan is the provincial government’s top priority.

As per details, he held a meeting with Secretary Communication and Works (C&W), Lal Jan Jaffar, here on Friday. Secretary Health, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, was also present.

The meeting discussed in detail the ongoing public health projects across the province.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar said that the government is making every possible effort to provide basic healthcare facilities to the people, and timely completion of health projects is among the top priorities of the provincial government.

Secretary C&W Lal Jan Jaffar assured full cooperation in ensuring the completion of health infrastructure projects with quality standards and within the stipulated timeframe. He noted that improvements in the health sector would serve as direct relief for the people of Balochistan.
