QUETTA: In a significant political development, senior Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Bibi Rubina Irfan has resigned from the party, citing a difference in ideology.
The former Senator and Member of the National Assembly submitted her formal resignation to the party’s Central President, Nawabzada Khalid Magsi. In her resignation, she expressed pride in her service and the party’s development but stated that her personal thoughts and ideas no longer align with the BAP’s current direction and policies.
Rubina Irfan emphasized that her commitment to the people of Balochistan remains strong. She vowed to continue her struggle for the province’s development and to solve public problems based on her own principles and values, stating that serving Balochistan is her mission.
