NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The security forces successfully thwarted a major attack by Afghan-based Fitna Al Khawarij terrorists in North Waziristan, inflicting heavy losses on the attackers.
In this regard, a group of militants attempted to raid a security forces post in the early hours of the day. The attempt was swiftly detected, and the soldiers on duty responded with precision and preparedness.
The exchange of fire resulted in the elimination of at least three terrorists, while several others sustained injuries during the clash. Furthermore, officials confirmed that the situation was quickly brought under control, and no casualties or damage were reported on the side of the security forces.
