SOHBATPUR: The meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC) was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sohbatpur, Fareeda Tareen, to review and award contracts for ongoing and upcoming development projects in the district.
In this regard, the session was attended by the Wing Commander of FC 139 Wing and all relevant committee members, underlining the importance of collaborative oversight in the district’s development agenda.
Furthermore, the central focus of the meeting was the formal awarding of contracts to successful bidders under approved development schemes.
So far, each project was presented in detail, with bidders invited to demonstrate their compliance with technical and administrative requirements.
After careful evaluation, qualified contractors were officially awarded their respective contracts.
Moreover, DC Fareeda Tareen congratulated the successful bidders and urged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in the execution of their work.
She stressed that the administration would not tolerate any compromise in construction quality or adherence to the specifications outlined in the PC-I documents.
In this sense, the contractors present at the meeting assured the committee of their full commitment to completing their projects with efficiency, quality, and accountability.
They reasserted their determination to deliver work that meets the expectations of both the administration and the public.
In addition, the committee resolved that the progress of all development works would be rigorously monitored. Executive agencies have been directed to submit weekly progress reports, while the DDC Chairman and Co-Chairman will conduct regular oversight visits.
The successful meeting issued with a confirmation of the district administration’s determination to prioritizing the welfare of the public through transparent and timely execution of development initiatives.
