A public hearing was held in Nal on Tuesday, bringing together local citizens and senior officials to address pressing civic problems.

KHUZDAR:  A Khuli Kachehri was (Open Court)  held in Nal on Tuesday, bringing together local citizens and senior officials to address pressing civic problems. The session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Khusro Dilawari and featured Brigadier Hasnain Masood of the 328th Brigade as a special guest.

Residents highlighted severe shortages of clean drinking water, non-functional water supply systems, and dilapidated road conditions. Concerns were also raised about the education sector, including teacher shortages and poor school infrastructure, and the healthcare sector, where the local 50-bed hospital reportedly lacks doctors and basic facilities, forcing patients to travel to Khuzdar. Additional complaints included prolonged power outages and poor sanitation services.

In response, officials from relevant departments assured that water supply would be restored promptly. They committed to making recommendations to higher authorities to address deficiencies in education and health, and promised immediate measures to improve cleanliness and roads.

Brigadier Masood and Deputy Commissioner Dilawari stated that the purpose of the hearing was to find immediate, practical solutions for public problems. They emphasized that state institutions and the army are working together to serve the people, and practical steps will be taken to resolve issues related to basic amenities.
