QUETTA: Provincial Advisor to Local Governments, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri, has pledged that pending development projects at the Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Khuzdar will be completed soon to provide the best educational facilities to students.
The assurance came during a meeting at Jhalawan House in Quetta, where the Vice-Chancellor of BUET, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, and Registrar Dr. Syed Jalal Shah briefed the advisor on the university’s shortcomings and challenges. The discussion focused on improving student facilities, enhancing the quality of education, and modernizing the university’s infrastructure.
Advisor Zehri emphasized that the education and health sectors are top priorities for the government. He stated that the government is utilizing all available resources to educate the youth, as an educated generation is essential for serving the country and the province effectively.
The meeting was also attended by other notable figures, including the District Chairman of Khuzdar and senior local government officials.
