QUETTA : In a significant initiative for educational development, the Government of Balochistan has announced two fully-funded scholarships for students from the province to pursue master’s degrees at the prestigious University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
The scholarships are offered for the 2026 academic session through the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) in partnership with the Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP). The sponsorship covers all major expenses, including full tuition fees, living costs, and includes mentorship support from Oxford University alumni.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a valid domicile of Balochistan and must secure an unconditional admission offer for a master’s program at Oxford for the 2026 session. A key requirement is that the chosen field of study must be within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The scholarships are only for new admissions.
The application process will open in October 2025, and the final deadline for submissions is January 15, 2026. Interested candidates must apply through the official portal of the Oxford Pakistan Programme.
