ISLAMABAD: Deputy Chairman of the Senate Syedaal Khan on Monday reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the development and prosperity of Balochistan’s underprivileged areas.
He stressed that a stronger and more prosperous Balochistan is vital for Pakistan’s overall progress.
During his visit to Quetta and its adjoining areas, Syedaal Khan inaugurated several development projects funded under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
These initiatives are designed to improve urban infrastructure, provide essential civic facilities, and create employment opportunities for local communities.
Among the projects inaugurated were the installation of new sewerage lines, the construction of paved roads, and the provision of four tube wells in Nawakilli, Al-Khair Town, Killi Gul Muhammad, and nearby areas. In addition, clean drinking water supply schemes and other public service initiatives were launched in Kuchlak and adjoining villages to address long-standing community needs.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan reaffirmed that the Pakistan Muslim League remains committed to national development, with Balochistan always a top priority. “The development of Balochistan is, in fact, the development of Pakistan,” he said, stressing that the government’s focus is to ensure safe drinking water, durable roads, improved sewerage systems, and other essential facilities that can ease the daily lives of citizens.
He further pledged that all available resources will be used to resolve the challenges faced by the people of Balochistan, adding that more welfare and development projects will soon be launched to sustain the province’s progress.
