JI Chief, CM Bugti agree to expand IT training programmes for youth in Balochistan

QUETTA; Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met with Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Saturday to discuss the province’s political, social, and IT training programmes for youth in Balochistan.

During the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s House, both sides agreed to take joint measures to provide IT training opportunities to the youth. The Chief Minister thanked Hafiz Naeem for supporting IT training initiatives in Balochistan, while Hafiz Naeem expressed satisfaction over the provincial government’s efforts.

Reaffirming his commitment to expanding IT training programmes, Hafiz Naeem emphasised that providing quality and free education is the government’s responsibility. “When we pay taxes, it is the duty of the state to ensure education for all,” he said.

He added that if the government facilitates youth participation in IT programmes, Pakistan’s exports will significantly increase. “Under the Bano Qabil programme, we will continue to offer free IT courses,” Hafiz Naeem announced.

IT Training programmes for youth

It is pertinent to mention that the JI welfare organisation, Al-Khidmat Foundation, is running Bano Qabil IT training programmes for youth in various cities of Pakistan, including Quetta. This IT programme initiative aims to bridge the digital divide by providing free, advanced, and in-demand IT courses. This initiative offers free IT courses in digital marketing, graphic design, web development and freelancing.
