CHAMAN : Security has been significantly increased on the vital Quetta-Chaman highway and surrounding areas, officials announced on Saturday.
The move, ordered by Assistant Commissioner (AC) Chaman Imtiaz Ali Baloch, involves the Levies Force and a Quick Response Force (QRF). Under the command of Dafdar Ajab Khan Achakzai, these forces are now conducting continuous 24-hour patrols and surprise snap checks on the highway.
AC Baloch issued a strong warning, stating that the government will no longer allow any group, political party, tribal elders, or individuals to block the Chaman-Quetta highway. He emphasized that anyone who breaks the law or attempts to disrupt order will face strict legal action.
