QUETTA: The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has promised that the process of sending Afghan refugees back to their country will be carried out with dignity and respect.
Speaking at a high-level meeting, he specifically stated that women, children, and elderly men will be treated with special care. He gave a strict warning that any government official who behaves disrespectfully during this process will face serious disciplinary action.
The Chief Minister confirmed that the Balochistan government is working closely with the federal government and the United Nations (UNHCR) on this plan.

The meeting also addressed the worsening law and order situation in Qila Abdullah district. CM Bugti ordered security forces to launch immediate operations against all criminal elements, without any delay. He promised that the provincial government would provide all necessary resources to restore peace.
To ensure results, he instructed local officials to send daily progress reports directly to his office.
