Balochistan Live News: PAK v UAE match about to get underway

Dubai: Pakistan has decided to get on with the ongoing Asia Cup after the match-referee dispute. Pakistan had asked ICC to take down the services of Andy Pycroft after the hand-shake dispute taking place in the match against India.

The Zimbabwean-based match referee Andy Pycroft  had asked Pakistan’s captain Salman Ali Agha not to shake hand with the Indian captain during the toss.

He had also asked not to record the proceedings during the toss.

Pycroft had told Pakistan team’ manager Naveed Akram Cheema that he had been given the instructions by the BCCI.

The Indian team had also avoided to shake hands after the match had ended.

In the match presentation, the Indian captain Suriya Kumar Yadav had also made statement which led to politics, nationalism and racism, contrary to the rules of ICC.

Pakistan responded outrageously and had asked ICC to take down the services of the match referee Pycroft. However, the ICC had initially denied Pakistan’s request.

Pakistan had then decided pull out of the Asia Cup until the issue was resolved.

Pakistan’ team stayed at the Dubai hotel and did not leave for stadium on routine time.

However, it was just a little while earlier, when the match referee Pycroft left for the ICC headquarter and Pakistan’s team departed to the Dubai International Stadium.

The delayed math will now be played at 8:30 PM.
