KOHLU: The one-day free medical camp was organized in Kohlu, where men, women, and children received free medical check-ups, treatment, and medicines.
The initiative was organized in order to provide healthcare facilities to the underserved population, was widely appreciated by the local community.
The team of doctors and medical staff attended to a large number of patients throughout the day. In this regard, the residents, many of whom face challenges in accessing regular healthcare due to limited facilities in the area, benefited from the consultations and the provision of necessary medicines at no cost.
The camp also focused on raising awareness about common health issues and preventive care, particularly for women and children.
Furthermore, locals expressed gratitude for the initiative, describing it as a much-needed step for the well-being of the community.
In this sense, the community elders and participants also emphasized the importance of continuity, urging the concerned authorities and organizations to arrange similar camps in the future.
They mentioned that consistent efforts in healthcare outreach could significantly improve the living standards of people in remote regions like Kohlu.
So far, the health officials present at the camp assured that such initiatives would continue in different parts of the district.
