QUETTA: Security officials have issued a strong denial in response to what they are calling a “fake news alert” from a banned militant group.
According to a statement from security sources, a propaganda network linked to the group “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” and its account “Bahot” have spread false claims about a military operation in the Mangchar area. Officials firmly stated that “no such incident has taken place in Mangchar.”
The statement emphasized that security forces are fully prepared and dedicated to protecting the lives and property of citizens in the region. It characterized the false reports as a tactic, suggesting that after suffering recent losses, the group has resorted to “lies and rumor-making” to please its foreign handlers.
The claims of violence against local residents, reported BLF media wing Zarambash, were dismissed as a “complete lie.” The statement concluded by affirming that the Baloch people and state institutions stand united in rejecting this false narrative.
