QUETTA: A father’s desperate plea for help to save his ailing daughter turned into relief and hope on Tuesday when Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti personally intervened and promised free treatment.
The emotional scene unfolded outside the Quetta Press Club, where a distressed father had appealed for assistance in his daughter’s medical treatment. Upon learning of the case, Chief Minister Bugti invited the man and his sick daughter to the CM Secretariat, where he met them in person.
The Chief Minister extended words of comfort to the worried parent and handed over cash assistance to support the child’s immediate needs. He also pledged that the provincial government would ensure the complete treatment of the little girl, named Marwah.
“Children’s smiles are our true happiness. We will take responsibility for Marwah’s treatment,” Bugti assured.
