CM Bugti launches Women Economic Empowerment Endowment Fund

QUETTA:  Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, inaugurated the Women Economic Empowerment Endowment Fund, describing it as a great milestone towards the province’s journey of inclusive and sustainable development.

In this sense, the CM Bugti paid his tribute to Advisor on Women Development, Dr Rubaba Khan Buledi, and her entire team for successfully organizing without ensuring women’s full participation in the social and economic mainstream.

The CM Bugti further stated that the goal is to create opportunities for the daughters of Balochistan to reach world-class institutions such as Harvard and Oxford.

Furthermore, Bugti also underlined that in the flood-affected areas of the province, where nearly 8,000 housing units are under construction, women will be granted maximum ownership rights to ensure their socio-economic security. 

He praised Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his initiatives in promoting women’s development, affirming that the provincial government is determined to follow in his footsteps.

Moreover, at the ceremony, the Chief Minister distributed documents among women beneficiaries and presented shields to organizers in recognition of their efforts.

He reasserted the provincial government’s commitment to strengthening women’s empowerment initiatives, adding that economic participation of women is key to achieving equality and progress in society.
