QUETTA: The terrorist organization, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has once again attempted to mislead the public and its foreign sponsors by making a false claim of attacking a security forces’ post in Hoshab. In this sense, the terrorists belonging to the banned organization tried to exploit civilian areas as cover and carried out indiscriminate firing from a distance. So far, the officials further stated that the vigilant and well-prepared security forces responded swiftly and effectively to the firing.
In this regard, as a result of the timely counteraction, the attackers were forced to retreat, leaving their so-called mission unsuccessful. Furthermore, authorities have focused on that the BLF’s fabricated claims of success are part of a broader propaganda campaign designed to exaggerate their presence on the ground.
Such tactics are often used by banned outfits to impress their external patrons and to secure funding, particularly in dollars, in the name of so-called resistance. The local administration has urged the people of Balochistan not to pay heed to such false propaganda and to remain vigilant against misinformation spread through various channels.
