Quetta: Provincial Sports Advisor Meena Majeed, in a press conference regarding the All-Pakistan CM Gold Cup, said that a series of sports programs are being organized in Balochistan.
She announced that the All Pakistan CM Gold Cup will be held in Quetta, starting from September 1 and concluding on September 14.
She further stated that 26 teams from across Pakistan will participate in the tournament, including 18 regional teams.
Highlighting Quetta’s facilities, Meena Majeed mentioned that the city currently has 12 different sports grounds.
She also pointed out that Balochistan has been allocated Rs. 200 billion under development funds, yet despite the province covering nearly half of Pakistan’s land area, it receives a disappointingly low share of the budget.
