Security forces kill BLA commander in Kech IBO

TURBAT: A key commander of the Indian-funded banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) Zahid Saleh alias Captain Wahid, killed in an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in the Tump area of Kech district of Balochistan.

According to official sources, the operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of high-value targets. During the operation, a cache of Indian-manufactured weapons and explosives was recovered from the site. Two security personnel were reportedly injured in the exchange of fire.

Zahid Saleh was believed to be the mastermind behind several high-profile attacks, including the deadly Jaffar Express bombing, the ambush on security forces in Zhob, and the attack on the Zamran check post. His death is seen as a significant blow to the BLA’s operational capabilities in southern Balochistan.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend any remaining militants.
