QUETTA: The Meteorological Department on Thursday informed that a new monsoon system will enter Balochistan on August 22. Heavy rainfall is expected in various districts of the province between August 23 and August 26.
According to the Meteorological Department, the heavy rain is likely to hit Barkhan, Musa Khel, and Hernai. Other areas including Loralai, Duki, Sibi, Zhob, Sherani, and Khuzdar are also expected to receive rainfall. Additionally, heavy rains are anticipated in Surab, Awaran, Qalat, Kachhi, Lasbela, Hub, and Kech districts of Balochistan.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the heavy rains could lead to flooding in local streams and nullahs. Travelers have been advised to avoid unnecessary journeys during this period to ensure their safety.
