Governor Balochistan assures youth of greater role in development projects

Quetta – A delegation of the Naujawanan Apozai Committee Zhob, led by Nadir Khan Apozai, met with Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail.

During the meeting, discussions were held on public issues of the area, youth-related concerns, and ongoing development matters.

The Governor assured the delegation that young people would be given an active role in welfare and development projects and that relevant departments would be instructed to resolve the issues raised.

The delegation thanked the Governor of Balochistan and expressed hope that greater opportunities would be provided to the youth in the province’s progress.

District Zhob, located in northern Balochistan, faces several long-standing challenges that directly affect the lives of its residents.

The most pressing issue is the poor condition of infrastructure, particularly roads, which hampers connectivity with other districts and limits trade and economic opportunities.

Healthcare facilities remain underdeveloped, with limited hospitals and shortage of doctors, forcing many patients to travel long distances for treatment.

Education is another concern, as schools lack basic facilities and higher education opportunities are scarce, contributing to a higher dropout rate among youth.

Additionally, water scarcity and lack of clean drinking water add to the hardships of daily life.
