Widespread rain, thunderstorms forecast for Sindh and Balochistan

QUETTA: Widespread rain, wind, and thundershowers are likely to hit Sindh and northeastern and southern Balochistan over the next twelve hours.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, northeastern and southern Punjab, and Gilgit will experience partly cloudy weather with isolated rain, wind, and thundershowers.

This morning, temperatures in major cities stood at: Islamabad 22°C, Lahore 25°C, Karachi 27°C, Peshawar 26°C, Quetta and Muzaffarabad 23°C, Gilgit 18°C, and Murree 16°C.

Meanwhile, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the forecast predicts partly cloudy weather with chances of rain in Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Srinagar and Leh will remain partly cloudy and dry.

Morning temperatures in the occupied region were recorded as: Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula 16°C, Jammu 26°C, Leh 9°C, and Shopian 15°C.
