CM Bugti Urges Youth to Lead Change on International Youth Day

QUETTA: On International Youth Day, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti released a video message for the province’s young people.

The message, shared on the Government of Balochistan’s official X account, highlighted that 60% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth. Bugti called them the country’s bright future.

He announced that Balochistan’s first youth policy has been formulated and included in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). He urged youth to take responsibility for distinguishing right from wrong and promoting truth in the modern era.

Bugti encouraged young people to research social issues and use social media to present facts. He reiterated his commitment to transparent recruitment, saying no job would be sold under his watch.

He also launched the province’s first Youth Skills Development Programme. He dismissed negative propaganda against the initiative as baseless and urged the youth to highlight its positive aspects.

Bugti called on young people to join the program, secure their livelihoods, and contribute to earning foreign exchange for Pakistan.
