PSIHIN: Custom officials have arrested a fake intelligence agency official caught red-handed during a successful operation at Chaman Customs Check Post “Yaro”.
According to details, on the timely tip-off of the drivers, the customs authorities stopped a suspicious Vitz vehicle, whose driver, Rafiullah son of Muhammad Zarif, had posed as a customs and intelligence agency official.
Initial investigation revealed that the accused had been extorting huge amounts of money by threatening vehicle drivers at gunpoint at various hotels and bases for a long time. The officials present at the spot took immediate action and arrested the accused along with the weapons and the vehicle.

The accused was handed over to the Levies Force for further legal action. The Levies have registered two cases against the accused under various serious sections including fraud, cheating and illegal possession of arms. According to sources, more arrests and revelations are expected.
