Kalat: Mir Abdul Waheed of National Party and Al-Khalid Panel Wins Municipal Committee Election in Kalat
Kalat: Elections for the Municipal Committee worker seat in Manguchar have concluded.
The joint candidate of the National Party and Al-Khalid Panel, Mir Abdul Waheed Mohammadshahi, has emerged victorious.
According to unofficial and preliminary results, Abdul Waheed secured 8 out of 11 votes, while his rival candidate Qudratullah Lango received only 3 votes.
The overall election process remained peaceful and transparent throughout.
Following the victory, supporters of Mir Abdul Waheed celebrated enthusiastically and adorned him with garlands.
In the Union Council Nicharah, Hur Jan Bibi — an independent candidate backed by the Al-Khalid Panel — won the reserved women’s seat by securing 4 votes. One vote was declared invalid due to an incorrect stamp mark.
