NASEERABAD: The Second Balochistan Games started in Naseerabad Division with an energetic opening, bringing together hundreds of young athletes from across the region. The sports grounds echoed with applause as large crowds gathered to support their local teams. In this sense, the spectators, families, and community leaders witnessed the colorful opening ceremony, followed by a series of high-spirited matches and demonstrations showcasing the athletic potential of Balochistan’s youth.
Furthermore, the tournament held under the supervision of Divisional Deputy Director of Sports, Mr. Raheem Bakhsh Joya, the event is being hailed as a major success in promoting sports and harmony in the region.
He was speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Joya stated, “We will not let the talent of our youth go to waste.”
So far, more than seven different sports are being contested during the Second Balochistan Games, including traditional and modern disciplines. The participating athletes from Naseerabad Division have shown remarkable skill and sportsmanship, drawing praise from both officials and the public alike.
However, the enthusiasm of the youth and the active participation of the public have breathed new life into the local sports scene. The initiative, led by the regional sports board under Mr. Joya’s guidance is being considered a model for sports development in underserved areas.
