By-election in seven districts of Balochistan to be held on Sunday

QUETTA: By-election in seven districts of Baluchistan will be held on 3rd August, Sunday.

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, the polling will be held from 8 in the morning to 4 at evening.

The seven districts of Baluchistan include Zhob, Shirani, Loralai, Barkhan, Kalat, Khuzdar and Surab.

The sources of Election commission of Pakistan have said that 25 candidates are contesting on 16 seats.

15 candidates will contest on the women’s six seats, whereas four candidates will compete for two seats of laborers.

Similarly, there will be three candidates for one seat of farmer and three candidates will compete for seven seats of non-Muslims.

As many as 106 General councilors will cast their votes in election.
